19个方法代替使用Because！英语就是不能一成不变

表示“因为 / 由于”的单词
1) because：因为，由于，后面接句子。
2) as：意义同上，后面接句子。
3) for：意义同上，后面可接名词或名词性短语，也可接句子（连接并列分句，对前面分句进行说明）。
【例句 1】 The ground is wet because it rained last night.（因为昨天下了雨，所以地很湿。）
【例句 2】 Surely it rained last night, for the ground is wet. （准是昨天下了雨，因为现在地很湿。）
表示“导致 / 引起 / 造成”的单词
4) make：引起，导致，后可接名词或名词性短语。
5) let：意义、用法同上。
6) cause：意义、用法同上。

【例句 3】 The medicine produced a violent reaction. （这药物引起了剧烈的反应。）
表示“导致 / 引起 / 造成”的短语

【例句 4】 This misprint led to great confusion. （这个印刷错误造成很大的困惑。）

11) due to：由于，归功于，后接名词或名词性短语。
12) because of：意义、用法同上。

14) thanks to：意义、用法同上，通常用于好的方面，做“多亏，幸亏”讲。

【例句 4】 We delayed our departure on account of the bad weather. （由于天气不好，我们将启程的时间推迟了。）
表示“导致 / 引起 / 造成”的句式
15) A be responsible for B.
16) A be attributed to B.
17) A be the cause of B.
18) A be the trigger for B.
19) B be the result of A.

A 导致了 B，A 为原因，B 为结果，A、B 均为名词或名词性短语。
【例句 5】 Smoking is responsible for many cases of lung cancer. （吸烟是许多人患肺癌的致病因素。）
